Love And A Dog... Or Three: The Ferguson Family

PUPPY LOVE

Being a pet owner is hard work: grooming, walking, feeding, taking them to vet appointments, making sure they get enough play time to be happy. Whether you have a turtle or a dog, your pets are relying on you for just about everything. However, as I’m sure any pet owner would tell you, it’s all worth it. Their silly facial expressions and unconditional love make every bad day better!

THEIR LOVE FOR YOU IS ENDLESS

PETS ARE FAMILY TOO!

When Jenny asked me if I’d be interested in doing a photoshoot with their pups, I replied with a very enthusiastic, “Absolutely!”

I’ve been an animal lover since day one, and for the majority of my childhood my greatest aspiration was to be a veterinarian. Growing up on a dairy farm taught me how to love and be loved by the creatures on this planet and I could think of nothing better to do than to take care of my adorable furry friends. While I did not become an animal doctor, I’m all in when it comes to photographing pets!

A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water logged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he’ll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

A PUPPY SESSION TURNED COUPLES SESSION

A family session wouldn’t be complete without a little focus on Mom and Dad.

While the weather was nice and the puppies were worn out, we decided to head out back and grab a few couples photography shots. The lights, the laughter, the dancing! There’s nothing like a good salsa sesh in the backyard to round out a photo session.

He taught us the art of unqualified love. How to give it, how to accept it. Where there is that, most other pieces fall into place.
