Six Months And Full Of Fun: Jonas & Josephine
A not-so-secret secret is that pictured right here is one of my favorite families! Alecia and Tim are wonderful people; the easy going, smile often, take life as it comes kind of people. There’s no doubt that having twins comes with it’s extra challenges, but these two face those challenges head on, as a team. Marriage goals anyone?!
Challenges aside, raising twins also comes with double the playtime, double the laughter, and double the fun. Photographing their beautiful family has always been just that, loads of playtime, laughter, and fun, and gosh this session did not let me down!
LET’S BE HONEST…
Breastfeeding is not as easy as it looks. Much of society tends to believe that it’s the easiest, natural thing, however, that’s not often the case. It comes with a multitude of hurdles: latching, milk production, regular feeding and pumping schedules, leaks, raw nipples. You know any mother who chooses (or is blessed with the option!) to nurse is full of perseverance and abundant love for their babies. That’s not to say mom’s who bottle feed aren’t, because being a mother in general is hard and you’ve gotta stay tough, but a mom who’s willing to put their body and mind through the struggles of nursing is simply amazing to me.
Shoutout to all of our mothers and grandmothers who made it seem like a piece of cake! But also, maybe you could have warned us haha!

Into The Great Outdoors
We were once again blessed with beautiful weather, and decided to take the session outside for a few snaps. There are few things more joy infusing that full-bellied babies smiling on a warm sunny day! 🥰
