Embrace The Chaos: The Gabrielatos Family

Since we’ve entered the cold part of the year, I’ve started scheduling more in home sessions. Personally, I think these are some of the best. Your kiddos are in a familiar comfy space, and the photos captured are real and true memories. When Jen first reached out, we discussed what an in home session might look like, and decided to lean into the chaos of family. She wanted to capture Charlie and Wren at their current stages authentically, and let me tell you…we had a ball!!

Toys, Couch Cuddles, And Old Fashioned Family Fun

If you’ve spent any amount of time on my blog, you’ve likely gathered that family is super important to me. I deeply cherish the memories I have as a child, especially the early ones of my brother and me playing with tractors, legos, or the random box turtle we’d track down in our yard. The age difference between Charlie and Wren is very similar to Rob and me, and much like my own big brother, Charlie absolutely adores his little sis. Talk about heart warming! I can only imagine the trouble these two will get into in the years to come!!

A fun family filled day wouldn’t be complete without playtime and toys! Tractors, Lincoln Logs, and plenty of toys to chew on. I love, love, love watching kids being kids. These are some of the best moment of an in home family photo session.

Of course, we had to do the classic sibling couch cuddles! I have a similar photo of my brother holding me, completely cheesin’ at the camera. This whole session brings back so many memories, and ultimately, that’s what I hope my photography does for the families I photograph.
